Jenny was born and raised in Tigard, Oregon.  She attended college at Whitman College in Washington earning her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Sports Medicine.  She left the Northwest briefly when she moved to Denver, Colorado, where she earned both her Master and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado.  After working for several years as a physical therapist in Seattle, Washington, Jenny and her husband moved to San Diego, California.  Since completing her DPT, Jenny has pursued additional training.  She is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certified Orthopedic Specialist and a North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) certified manual therapist.

While attending Whitman College, Jenny was a member of the varsity soccer team.  Playing soccer is a hobby that she continues in her spare time.  She also enjoys hiking, skiing, coaching soccer and other outdoor activities.
