Kate Mallinson is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and
Certified Personal Trainer. In her private practice, Nutrition by Kate, she
specializes in Digestive Dysfunction, Blood Sugar Imbalances, Auto-Immune
Conditions, and Weight Loss. She serves clients both in the office and remotely
via Skype. Kate has received nutrition training through the Nutritional Therapy
Association, UCSD Extension, Mira Costa College, as well as several continuing
education seminars. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Nutrition and
Functional Medicine through the University of Western States.
Kate’s clinical approach is bio-individualized to meet the needs of each client. She utilizes a series of evaluative techniques to get to the root cause of dysfunction and help restore balance in the body. Kate starts with a foundation of a nutrient dense whole foods diet, and then works to correct imbalances within the various body systems. Kate has lived in San Diego for the last 10 years. She and her husband love to travel the world, backpack in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, snowboard, surf, and run. Kate has competed in several triathlons including the Kona Half-Ironman, as well as several half-marathons. |
