Shari Russell, LMT, Certified Personal Trainer
Shari is a masterful bodywork therapist, fitness trainer, and instructor with over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry. Through her years of fitness coaching and being a competitive triathlete, Shari has seen and felt numerous physical ailments. By truly living in her own physicality, being well-educated in human anatomy and intuitively connecting to each person, Shari's approach to every client session is unique. In working side-by-side with our physical therapist at Evolve, she combines a multitude of myofascial therapy techniques such as deep tissue, structural integration and circulatory massage as well as passive and active joint therapy that specifically benefit each individual patient's needs.
Shari is a proponent of educating patients about soft tissue manipulation self-care techniques, proper movement patterns and postural awareness to take the tremendous care they receive at Evolve home with them.
As a self-proposed bodywork junkie, Shari "walks her talk"...so when she isn't working, she's out riding her bike, running the trails or looking for some good bodywork of her own.
Shari has over 20 years of teaching and training in the fitness industry. She also has been practicing massage and therapeutic bodywork therapy for 10 years. Shari is passionate about working with those who want to take responsibility for their own health and wellness.
